We’re loving the feature ‘Prom Night’ from this months Vogue Italia shot by Steven Meisel. We are very fond of Meisels photography work within fashion world, being classed as one of the most successful photographers in the industry; his work is some of the very best in presence time. Meisel regularly shoots for Vogue and other high fashion houses; you can view some of his other works we’ve previously featured here this year, such as the Lanvin and Prada SS12 campaigns.
We watched as Meisel got playful with two covers, one side notably more mischievous than the other by baring some beautifully embellished yet slightly eery face masks. These contrast covers reflect the theme of shoot so well, trying to show a new elegance and sophistication of being swank and chic, yet at the same time being informal with a strong rock vibe.
