Odd Future’s Frank Ocean has unveiled a beautiful new teaser trailer, featuring his latest track “Pyraminds”. The teaser is in support of his forthcoming album titled “Channel Orange” due to be released some time in July. The track has been released and is available for free download via Soundcloud and also at the bottom of this post, where you can also listen to it in all of it’s 9 minutes of glory. Yes, I did say it was free and yes it is 9 minutes long, nothing short of grand and atmospheric-like.
“Pyramids” changes routes a number of times with various beats, synths and smooth cameo guitar licks. Roughly in the middle of the track (4:30), the track turns into the mysterious pulsating ambiguity featured in the teaser, of which the visuals compliment incredibly well. Frank Ocean most definitely has us eagerly anticipating the full-length, in just over a month.
